Coal India Limited (CIL) will conduct the third round of special forward e-auction for distressed power generators during February 16-18, 2016. In the upcoming auction, CIL would offer coal to power producers that do not have linkages from CIL or PPAs with state utilities. CIL will put 3 mt of coal on offer which would be utilised for the rest of 2015-16.
