Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited has cancelled short-term open access licences of over 100 manufacturing units in Gujarat. The reason cited for this is that these units draw less than 1 MW of power. Reportedly, the cancellation of these licences is likely to affect 300 MW of power procurement by various industrial units.
