Rajasthan government signs $250 million agreement with World Bank for 24X7 power for all

The Rajasthan government has signed a Program Implementing Entity Agreement with the World Bank for a $250 million credit line from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the First Programmatic Electricity Distribution Reform Development Policy Loan for Rajasthan. The programme will support the implementation of the 24×7 Power for All scheme in the state through the strengthening of governance, and improving operational performance in the distribution segment, among other things.
