CERC releases staff paper on national open access registry

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has released a staff paper on the national open access registry. The paper discusses the setting up of an integrated IT-based system (accessible to all stakeholders – open access participants, trade intermediaries, national/regional/state load despatch centres and regional power committees) for maintaining a repository of information like open access granted to customers, inter-state corridors available for short-term open access, and short-term open access availed of as per corridor limits.
