CESC Limited has commenced distribution franchisee operations at Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Currently, Bharatpur Electricity Supply Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC, has taken over the technical operations and maintenance function and will serve around 52,000 consumers. Earlier in September 2016, CESC had begun distribution franchisee operations at Kota in Rajasthan.
