Essar Power Hazira Limited (EPHL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Essar Power Limited, has commissioned the second 135 MW unit of a 270 MW multifuel captive power plant (CPP) at Hazira in Gujarat. With this, the CPP stands fully commissioned. The first unit of the CPP was commissioned in July 2015. The plant is used to meet the power requirement of Essar Steel Limited.
