Adani’s Mundra unit runs for record 600 days

Adani Power Limited’s Unit 4 (330 MW) of the 4,620 MW Mundra coal-based power plant in Gujarat has created a national record by running continuously for 600 days and generating 4,142.56 units of electricity. NTPC’s unit at the Vindhyachal thermal power plant in Madhya Pradesh previously held this record after operating continuously for 559 days. Adani Power has credited its operational excellence and maintenance programme for this achievement.
