RattanIndia Nasik Power commissions 540 MW of capacity

RattanIndia Nasik Power Limited has commissioned two units of 270 MW each of its 1,350 MW Nashik coal-based power project at Sinnar in Maharashtra. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is the principal contractor for the project. With the commissioning of these units, BHEL has completed eight 270 MW units for RattanIndia in Maharashtra – three at the Nashik thermal power plant (TPP) and five at the Amravati TPP. In addition, another two 270 MW units are presently in advanced stages of completion at Nahsik.
