The Gujarat government has allocated Rs 2.48 billion for development of the Atladara and Tarsali sewage treatment plants (STPs). The Atladara STP project is being implemented by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation. It involves the construction, testing and commissioning of 83 mld of capacity and quality upgradation of the existing (43+43 mld) STPs in the Vadodara district of Gujarat to 43 mld capacity. The Tarsali project involves the construction of a 100 mld capacity STP.
