The Telangana government has allocated funds worth Rs 2 billion for the development of the Musi river rejuvenation project under budget 2021-22. Further, funds worth Rs 7.25 billion were allotted for the development of a water supply project in Sunkesula in Hyderabad at an estimated cost of Rs 14.5 billion. Meanwhile, a provision of Rs 25 billion has also been proposed for providing drinking water to newly formed colonies within the Outer Ring Road in the state.
