The cost of the 24×7 Manimajra water supply project has been revised from Rs 4.4 billion to Rs 5.91 billion due to the addition of new components under the project. The new components include the upgradation of Sector 39 waterworks and the replacement of 2 kms of pipelines in different areas. The project is being implemented at Manimajra in Chandigarh in two phases on a pilot basis. The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has incorporated Chandigarh Smart City Limited as an SPV for the implementation of the project under the Smart Cities Mission.
