Pune Municipal Corporation approves funds worth Rs 3.92 billion for development of drainage network and STPs

The standing committee of the Pune Municipal Corporation approved funds worth Rs 3.92 billion for the development of drainage network and STPs in 11 newly merged villages on August 10, 2021. The scope of work includes laying of 111 km of drainage lines and 14 km of sewer networks, and improvement of existing 14 km sewer networks at an estimated cost of Rs 1 billion, Rs 1.01 billion and Rs 133.7 million respectively. It also includes construction of a 93.5 mld STP at Manjari Budruk and 12 mld STP at Keshavnagar, at an estimated cost of Rs 1.77 billion.
