Gujarat Gas begins supplying LNG using cryogenic trucks

Gujarat Gas has begun supplying LNG using cryogenic trucks. It began supplying natural gas to consumers in the tribal areas of Narmada district, Gujarat. The system comprises a LNG storage tank and a regasification facility and is called a virtual CGD network as it is not connected to the gas grid. The total cost of the system, which includes an LNG tank of 24,000 kg capacity, is under Rs 100 million.
