Torrent Gas Limited has commenced the supply of natural gas to domestic households and industries in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh government has inaugurated Phase I of the city gas distribution network in Gorakhpur. The state government has commenced the supply of piped natural gas to the first set of 100 domestic connections and one industrial connection. Eight compressed natural gas (CNG) stations of Torrent Gas have also been inaugurated taking the total number of Torrent’s operational CNG stations in the Gorakhpur geographical area to 18.
