The Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) has achieved a volume of 785,000 million British thermal units (mmBtu) in November 2021. During the month, the exchange delivered 699,400 mmBtu of gas volumes. The average gas price discovered during the month was Rs 2,033 per mmBtu. The exchange price remained on the higher side compared to prices in October, mainly due to an increase in gas prices in global spot markets.
