The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has notified the draft Connectivity and General Network Access to the Interstate Transmission System Regulations, 2021. The rules specify the provisions for application for grant of connectivity and general network access (GNA), eligibility for connectivity to the interstate transmission system (ISTS), grant of connectivity by the nodal agency and the state transmission utility, among others. The regulator has sought comments and objections from stakeholders till January 17, 2022.
