AP government sanctioned funds worth Rs 1.19 billion for Proddatur water supply project

The Andhra Pradesh Government has sanctioned funds worth Rs 1.19 billion for the implementation of the Proddatur water supply project. The project involves the construction of a 171 km long new pipeline and surface reservoirs to supply drinking water in Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, an 8.87 km long five-channel drainage system is being modernised. It entails an investment of Rs 1.63 billion.
