The Kerala Water Resources Department aims to provide 1.02 million new water connections to rural households under the Jal Jeevan Mission in 2022. Till now, 1.06 million connections have been provided. To achieve the target in the coming two years, around 4.3 million new functional household tap connections have to be provided in the state.
