Three states, namely, Goa, Telangana and Haryana, as well as the union territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Puducherry, have provided 100 per cent tap water coverage under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Himachal Pradesh stands at 93 per cent, followed by Gujarat at 92 per cent and Bihar at 90 per cent. All these states aim to achieve 100 per cent coverage by 2022.
