The Chandigarh administration has notified the revised water tariff to be effective from April 1, 2022. The new tariff is higher in comparison to the rates in 2019-20 but lower in two categories as compared to September 2020. The residents will have to pay Rs 3 per kl for up to 15 kl, Rs 6 kl in the category of 16 kl to 30 kl, Rs 10 per kl for 31-60 kl, and Rs 20 per kl for consumption above 60 kl.
