AG&P Pratham plans to set up 11 CNG stations in Ramanathapuram

AG&P Pratham, the city gas distribution (CGD) arm of the Singapore-based Atlantic Gulf and Pacific Group, plans to set up 11 compressed natural gas (CNG) stations and provide piped natural gas (PNG) in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, over the next eight years. AG&P has already started laying steel pipelines in Ramanathapuram and Keelakarai in a bid to improve the ease of access to CNG and PNG for households, commercial establishments and industrial units in the region. According to AG&P Pratham’s, estimates these 11 CNG stations will ensure PNG supply to 41,311 households in the next eight years.
