The Uttar Pradesh government has inaugurated a sewerage treatment plant (STP) at Manpur, Etah. The scope of work involved construction, erection, testing, including required survey and design work, commissioning, startup, operation and maintenance including monitoring and performance run of a 24 million litre per day (mld) STP, at Etah city. The project was constructed by Technocraft Construction Private Limited and was completed within six years, entailing an estimated investment of Rs 2.25 billion.
