Centralised monitoring system for water supply may be adopted by DJB

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) plans to implement a centralised monitoring system for water supply in Delhi. It will adopt European standards to monitor water consumption, similar to the supervisory control and data acquisition system. The system will also ensure efficient water distribution to meet the growing demand for water in localities. It will help in tracking and optimising water usage while promoting conscious consumption habits among residents. The DJB will be better equipped to address water shortages, detect leakages and implement necessary measures for sustainable water resources management.
