Shell India is planning to set up a liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Gujarat. It will entail an investment of approximately Rs 5 billion for the LNG regasification terminal, asset integrity rejuvenation, and debottlenecking project. Additionally, it has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government for this initiative. It is likely to commence commercial operations by 2027.
