The Rajasthan government inaugurated Phase I of the Bisalpur-Prithviraj Nagar water supply project on September 19, 2023. Under Phase I, water will be supplied to 1,100 colonies. Currently, 95 per cent of the work has been completed. Also, a 44 km long transmission main line from Balawala to Lohamandi, 51 km long rising main line, nine clear reservoirs with pump house and 19 high reservoirs, and about 970 km of distribution lines have been laid at an estimated cost of Rs 5.64 billion. The work on Phase I is likely to be completed by December 2023.
