A WSS was inaugurated in Khairad Rawal Bassi village in the Chabbewal constituency in Punjab on December 11, 2023, to provide clean drinking water to a population of 2,180. This scheme was initiated for three villages in 2009; however, the residents did not have access to drinking water. The estimated cost of the scheme is Rs 5.52 million.
