Work completed on Siddharth Vihar WTP  in Uttar Pradesh

Construction work on the 120 million litres per day (mld) Siddharth Vihar water treatment plant (WTP) project in Ghaziabad has been completed. A trial run was conducted, and it is likely to commence operations soon. The scope of work involved the laying of a 20.5 km-long pipeline from Dasna till WTP in Siddharth Vihar and a 120 mld WTP for providing water supply to areas such as Awas Vikas Colony, Indirapuram in Ghaziabad and various sectors of Gautam Budh Nagar, including the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and Greater Noida West. It was developed under the Ganga Water Supply Distribution Project, Phase III, at a cost of Rs 3.04 billion.
