90 per cent sewerage work completed in Panaji, Goa under SCM

Approximately 90 per cent of construction work on various sewerage projects has been completed in Panaji, Goa, under the Smart Cities Mission. Central Panaji has had 7.4 km of sewerage pipeline laid and 250 manholes out of 251 completed, with the remaining one being under construction at MG Road. St Inez has had 3 km of planned sewerage network laid and 72 out of 75 manholes completed, with the remaining under construction. Ribandar has had 9.6 km of planned sewerage network laid and 280 out of 300 manholes completed. Fontainhas has had 2.2 km of planned sewerage network and 73 planned manholes completed. Mala has had 3.3 km of planned sewerage network laid and 109 manholes out of 110 completed. Miramar-Caranzalem has had 2.8 km of planned sewerage network laid and 89 manholes out of 90 completed. Altinho has had 450 metres of sewerage network and 10 manholes out of 18 completed.
