The JV of Prathima Infrastructure Limited and GSJ Envo Limited has won a contract worth Rs 2.26 billion for the construction of a sewage treatment plant (STP) in Panjappur, Tamil Nadu, under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0 scheme. Bids for the same were invited by the Tiruchirapalli City Municipal Corporation in August 2023. The scope of work includes the designing, building and commissioning of a 100 million litre per day (mld) STP at Panjappur using sequencing batch reactor technology. It involves setting up a 10 mld tertiary treatment utility facility and O&M.
