GAIL signs SPA with ADNOC for purchase of LNG

In a notable development, GAIL (India) Limited has signed a sales and purchase agreement with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Gas for the purchase of about 0.52 mtpa of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for a period of 10 years, starting 2026. The LNG will be supplied through six shipments annually from ADNOC’s natural gas facility on the Das Island, in the Persian Gulf, with a processing capacity of 6 mtpa.
