Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has commissioned the new bitumen production unit at Mangalore, Karnataka. In 2022, MRPL undertook the development of a new bitumen production unit featuring cutting-edge Biturox technology from Porner, Austria. With a production capacity of 150,000 tonnes per annum, the unit effectively doubles MRPL’s existing bitumen output.
