The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has set the domestic natural gas price at $7.8 per million British thermal unit (mBtu) on a gross calorific value (GCV) basis for the period from March 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025. However, for gas produced by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and Oil India Limited from their nomination fields, the administrative price mechanism price will be subject to a ceiling of $6.50 per mBtu on a GCV basis for the period under consideration.
