Schneider Electric has partnered with South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) to modernise and enhance Bihar’s power distribution network. As part of the project, Schneider Electric has established a command and Control center and a disaster recovery center which will enable real time monitoring and improved decision-making for grid connectivity and reliability. The deployment includes 305 ring main units to enhance distribution power reliability and 550 fault passage indicators on overhead lines to improve fault detection and response times.
