The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) is planning to develop a software to monitor the real-time testing of water samples. It has also proposed to recognise water testing labs in government colleges and the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) as state labs. This initiative is expected to accelerate large-scale real-time testing of water samples obtained from the Yamuna river, sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants and other sources.
Moreover, DJB has directed DPCC to speed up the work on the installation of online continuous monitoring stations along the Yamuna river.
