Centre lays foundation stone for Hathua LPG bottling plant

The union government laid the foundation stone for the Hathua liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) bottling plant on April 24, 2025. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited is planning to develop an LPG bottling plant with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes per annum, along with a rail unloading facility at Hathua in Gopalganj district of Bihar, entailing an investment of Rs 3.4 billion. Besides, it is likely to be completed by March 2027.
