IIT Delhi outlines roadmap for setting up a CoE under Ind-Rivers initiative

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has outlined a strategic plan for setting up a Centre of Excellence (CoE) as part of the Ind-Rivers initiative, in collaboration with the National Mission for Clean Ganga and the government of the Netherlands. Reportedly, the proposed centre aims to carry out applied research, deliver training programmes, and function as an incubator for start-ups in the water sector.

The key focus areas will include urban river management plans, digital twin technology, artificial intelligence (AI) driven geospatial modelling, and innovative solutions to address water pollutants such as plastics.
