GAIL (India) Limited’s board has approved the Dahej-Uran-Dabhol-Panvel natural gas pipeline augmentation. The pipeline starts from Dahej in Gujarat to Dabhol in Maharashtra from 19.9 million standard cubic metres per day (mscmd) to 22.5 mscmd, entailing an investment of Rs 8.44 billion. The project will be financed by a combination of debt and equity and is likely to be commissioned by March 2028.
