The first large-scale biogas plant in Delhi was inaugurated on September 20, 2025, at Nangli Dairy. The plant is spread over an area of 2.72 acres and has a capacity to process 200 tpd of cattle dung and biodegradable waste into compressed biogas (CBG) and manure. Around 14,000 cubic metres of raw biogas per day, or 5.6 tonnes of CBG, would be supplied to Indraprastha Gas Limited.
