A compressed biogas (CBG) plant and an integrated CBG-compressed natural gas (CNG) pump were inaugurated at Ghogha Dairy in Delhi on September 26, 2025. The facility, built over 3 acres, has a capacity to process 100 tonnes of wet waste and generate 4 tonnes of CNG per day. It was set up by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in association with Indraprastha Gas Limited. The move is expected to minimise landfill dumping.
