The Thiruvananthapuram International Airport has set up an artificial intelligence (AI)- based wastewater intelligence system. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency and reliability of sewage treatment mechanisms through the incorporation of automation and real-time analytics.
The system will aid in real-time surveillance of key parameters like pH, biological oxygen demand, chemical oxygen demand and total suspended solids. This is expected to provide efficient sewage treatment operations and data driven optimisation across different stages of wastewater treatment cycle.
