IGGL commences natural gas supply to NRL through GNPL of Northeast Gas Grid

Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) commenced the supply of natural gas to Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) through the Guwahati-Numaligarh pipeline (GNPL) on November 11, 2025, marking the commencement of commercial operations on the Northeast Gas Grid. The move marks the first commercial flow of natural gas through IGGL’s pipeline network. The pipeline has been constructed through a challenging terrain comprising rivers, hills and dense forests.
