IOCL carries out export of LNG to Nepal

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) carried out India’s first export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Nepal. The move follows an agreement signed by IOCL with Yogya Holdings Private Limited. The inaugural consignment was transported via cryogenic road tankers from IOCL’s LNG terminal at Dhamra through the Raxaul border. Cryogenic storage and regasification facilities have been set up by IOCL at Simara in Nepal.
