Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) have entered into a 15-year ethane unloading, storage and handling services binding term sheet on December 3, 2025, under which ONGC will reserve approximately 600 kilotonnes per annum at the ethane storage and handling facilities of PLL at Dahej in Gujarat. As per the agreement, PLL is likely to earn a gross revenue of Rs 50 billion over the total contract duration, which is 15 years. Further, the under-construction unique third jetty of PLL is expected to facilitate the unloading, storage and handling of ethane, propane and liquified natural gas (LNG) at Dahej. It is set to be the first of its kind in India, which will be made available for third-party imports.
