The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is implementing an innovative groundwater recharge technology for the first time in Jaipur under drainage projects in the Kalwar Road and Khirni Phatak areas. JDA will deploy eco block technology to capture rainwater and enhance subsurface recharge.
Under the initiative, paver block-like structures encased in geo-textile membranes will filter out solid waste and allow rainwater to percolate into the ground, thereby replenishing the water table, while excess water will flow into the Dravyavati river.
