Schneider Electric digitalises 75 TPWODL substations in Western Odisha

Schneider Electric has partnered with Tata Power Western Odi sha Distribution Limited (TPWODL) to modernise and digitalise power distribution infrastructure in Western Odisha. As part of the engagement, Schneider Electric has digitalised 75 substations using its EcoStruxure™ Grid architecture, enabling end-to-end visibility and intelligent control across the distribution network. TPWODL serves over 2.1 million consumers across nine districts, and the deployment has already reduced power interruption time by 30 per cent, with further gains targeted through continued digital optimisation.
