TOSHIBA delivers indigenously developed 132 kV mobile GIS system to POWERGRID

Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Private Limited (TOSHIBA) has delivered an indigenously developed 132 kV mobile gas-insulated switchgear (m-GIS) system to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID).

The system features a standardised “connect–operate–disconnect–redeploy” configuration to enhance grid flexibility and operational agility. Its compact and modular design supports rapid deployment in high-density environments.
