State sanctions funds for supply of Ganga water to Khosa colony, Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government has sanctioned funds worth Rs 1.85 million for the Ganga water supply at Khosa in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The scope of work includes the supply of 50 million litres per day of Ganga water to 0.6 million residents of Khoda. A 9-km long spipeline will be laid from Chhajarsi to Khoda to divert water from the Sidharth Vihar water treatment plant to four reservoirs in Khoda. This water will be supplied to households through the existing pipeline.
