IGGL submits proposal for tie-in connectivity from Tulamura Gas Field to North-East Natural Gas Pipeline

Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) has submitted a proposal to the PNGRB for laying an 86 km, 12-outside diameter pipeline tie-in connectivity from OIL’s Tulamura gas field in Tripura Asset to the North-East Natural Gas Pipeline Grid Project. The PNGRB has initiated the public consultation process for the same. The project involves the development and operations and maintenance of a 1,656 km natural gas pipeline connecting eight states, namely, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. It is being implemented by IGGL, a JV company of IOCL, ONGC, GAIL (India) Limited, OIL, and Numaligarh Refinery Limited, at an investment of Rs 92.65 billion.
