The government of Delhi has launched 1,111 tankers equipped with global positioning system (GPS) across Delhi during summer months, on April 20, 2025. The GPS systems will enable efficient monitoring of the tankers’ location. The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) headquarters are expected to track the tankers through information technology (IT) dashboards. Besides, the public will also be able to track the tankers, file grievances and monitor the resolution process using the DJB mobile application.
