The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to map the sewage treatment plants (STPs) installed in private housing societies using supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Through the mapping mechanism, data for treated water parameters like biological oxygen demand and chemical oxygen demand will be collected, analysed and reported.
